When he discovers that his friend Susan Plummer (Melissa Leo) has been murdered, he puts all his effort in to finding her killers and making them pay.
Finally, in 'The Equalizer 3' (2023), McCall intervenes when he realises that the inhabitants of the small Italian town where he is recuperating are being plagued by mafia boss Vincent Quaranta (Andrea Scarduzio) and his subordinates. Unable to take them down alone he makes contact with the CIA, which changes the course of Agent Emma Collins (Dakota Fanning)'s career...
