The Hirsch Effekt is a German progressive metal trio that released Solitaer/Gregaer in 2022 as a conceptual project exploring the theme of social distancing during the pandemic era. The album's central concept revolves around the antonym between "solitaer," meaning living individually, and "gregaer," representing communal collaboration.
