SIGNS OF DARKNESS

Signs Of Darkness exploded onto the Belgian melodic black metal scene in 1995. With their fourth full length album entitled ‘The Age Of Decay’, the quartet unleashes another epic creation upon this world. The successor to 2011’s independently released EP ‘Apostate’ features the band’s trademark colossal riffs, furious blastbeats and haunting lyrics, but takes them to the next level.

The album – set to be released March 27th of 2015 through Shiver Records – deals with planet earth’s problems head on in a true rebellion against the human way of living. Inspired by incarnations of early black metal, the music is raw and relentless and the brutal vocals send cold shivers down your spine. Be prepared for total mayhem and welcome to The Age Of Decay!

‘The Age Of Decay’ was recorded at Artsounds Studios in Helchteren with producer and bandmember Peter Vaes. The artwork was taken care of by Marc at Artwars-Mediadesign (SINISTER, MASTER, LIFELESS,…).

Signs of Darkness had the following to say: “The period during which this album was created was very intense.The songwriting, lyrical contents and also the artwork were designed in a close cooperation between all the bandmembers. The atmosphere was strong which is also the reason why we wanted to finish the recordings, mixing and mastering by ourselves. Be prepared for total mayhem!”
