The nice "Slap Them Up" precedes the infamous "Sound Of Da Police." The look at police brutalities is simply rap at its finest. The album ends perfectly with "Stop Frontin'" and "Higher Level," a provocative challenge to American religion with a heavy horn-laden beat. Perfect hip hop from the best year for the genre, 1993.
