Kexcelled PLA Mat Marineblauw/Matt Navy 1.75mm 1kg 3D Printer filament - NEW STOCK!

ENGLISH

What is PLA K5M?

PLA Matte has is a specialised filament created to have a matte finish with very little light reflectivity. It is non-shiny and has a “warmer” and “softer” finish. The Matte texture conceals the printer layers lines well and is great for engineering projects with fine details, sharp lines and angles. Prints printed with PLA Matte come across as rugged and sturdy. Kexcelled PLA Matte filaments are available in many subtle colours (Morandi colours) as well as some newer brighter colours.

What is PLA?

PLA (short for PolyLactic Acid) is the ‘go-to’ 3D filament for most makers. Kexcelled PLA is a universal filament that can be used in the majority of FDM printers. It is highly stable and provides smooth extrusion and excellent adhesion, without any issues with stringing or warping when optimal settings are used. It is thus easy to use, is near odour-free and thus perfect for beginner 3D printer users.

Kexcelled's patented technology has improved the brittleness that is sometimes seen in PLA while still maintaining the strength of the filament. It is also great for experienced makers and for making large prints due to its great precision and economical cost. Post-processing is trouble-free (sanding-down, polishing or painting) so perfect for those special creations. To prevent tangling, it is recommended to insert the filament end into the spool holes after use.

Kexcelled PLA is plant-based and made from corn starch. It is biodegradable, environmentally friendly and non-toxic.
