The 1978-83 timeline represents a continuing strength for Santana, best reflected in the live performances where the group could always draw from a heavyweight back catalogue with contemporary hits such as 'Winning' and 'Hold On' enjoying equal popularity amongst stone cold classics in 'Evil Ways,' 'Black Magic Woman' and 'Samba Pa Ti.'
