Zabawa also brings his wife Wanda to the base, but she wants to return to the city as quickly as possible. This adaptation of Marek Hłasko's novel was shot with a star cast. The film, too pessimistic for the communist authorities, faced serious problems with the censorship. Digitally restored film.
